Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1: Kingsley Eduwo Returns to Étoile Sportive du Sahel

Former CHAN Eagles striker Kingsley Eduwo has made a return to Tunisian football after signing for eleven-time Ligue Professionnelle 1 champions Étoile Sportive du Sahel.

The 30-year-old joins Étoile du Sahel after previous spells with Sfaxien, Espérance de Tunis and Club Africain, making the club the fourth member of Tunisia’s traditional ‘Big Four’ he has represented.

Eduwo’s move was completed a few hours before the close of the Tunisian summer transfer window on Sunday, September 20.

Étoile du Sahel have added a forward with considerable Ligue Professionnelle 1 experience, with Eduwo scoring 16 goals and providing four assists in 71 appearances in the competition.

A Familiar Face Returns to Tunisian Football

After four league matches, Étoile du Sahel sit 11th with four points, having recorded one win, one draw and two defeats.
