Cavalry FC Players Face Suspension as Canadian Premier League Disciplinary Action Continues

Disciplinary action is ongoing in the Canadian Premier League (CPL) as Canada Soccer oversees all on-field matters. Following the 21st week of play, several players and coaches are facing suspension.

Cavalry FC Players Among Those Suspended

Harry Paton and Tobias Warschewski of Cavalry FC have been issued one-match suspensions by Canada Soccer. Paton’s sanction is due to yellow card accumulation, while Warschewski received a red card for accumulating two cautions in a single match.

The suspensions will take effect on September 25, with Paton and Warschewski set to miss their team’s match against FC Supra du Québec.

Other Players Nearing Suspension

A number of players are now one caution away from a one-match suspension for yellow card accumulation. These include Aboubacar Sissoko, Antoine Batisse, Daniel Nimick, Rezart Rama, Isaiah Johnston, Lorenzo Callegari, Lucas Olguin, Ariel Almagro, Steffen Yeates, Luke Singh, Tomasz Skublak, Christian Greco-Taylor, and Thierno Bah.
