Ferencváros Not Alone in Representing Hungary in Europa League

The Ferencváros will not be the only Hungarian team representing their country in the Europa League as two other teams with Hungarian connections will also participate.

The Ferencváros, who have been performing exceptionally well in the qualifying rounds, will face off against Celtic Glasgow in Scotland on Thursday in the opening match of the group stage.

The green-and-whites are not only confident but also well-rested and fresh after a six-week break since their last eight competitive matches. They have been unbeaten in those games, winning six and drawing two, having defeated Vojvodina, Twente, Górnik Zabrze, and Trabzonspor.

After a hectic summer schedule with double headers, the Ferencváros players finally got some much-needed rest as they only played one match last week against DEAC in the Hungarian Cup. Although several key players were given a break, the team still managed to win comfortably.
