The 2026/27 season of Ekstraklasa got off to a thrilling start, with an impressive attendance of 168,114 spectators across all matches. This is the second-best result in the history of the league, just shy of the record set last season.

The largest crowds were present in Kraków and Poznań, with Wisła’s return to the league against GKS Katowice drawing an impressive 31,344 fans. Lech Poznań’s match against Cracovia also saw a massive turnout of 31,310 spectators.

Over 20,000 fans attended matches in Zabrze and Szczecin, with Górnik’s match against Śląsk drawing 25,998 spectators. Sellouts were also recorded at the Jagiellonia – Korona and Widzew Łódź – Motor Lublin matches.

With an average attendance of 18,679 fans per match in the first round, it’s clear that Ekstraklasa is off to a fantastic start this season. The centenary jubilee celebrations are certainly living up to expectations!
