Saudi Pro League Postpones Matches Due to Asian Cup Rescheduling
The Saudi Pro League has announced that matches scheduled for this week have been postponed due to the rescheduling of the AFC Asian Cup 2027.
The decision comes as part of a wider review of the 2026-27 league fixture schedule, with the revised Asian Cup dates creating additional flexibility in the domestic football calendar, according to the Saudi Pro League.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr are the reigning champions of the Saudi Pro League and were set to be among the teams competing this week. The postponement will give them extra time to prepare for their next match.
