Manchester United’s Young Stars Shine Bright at National League Cup
The talented young players in Manchester United’s Women’s Academy have been recognized for their outstanding efforts during the 2025/26 season.
The Under-21s team recently won the Professional Game Academy Plate, a reward for their hard work and dedication throughout the campaign. The team finished fourth in the PGA League Division One after a strong surge through the northern section to qualify earlier in the term.
Individual Awards
Coaches have chosen Sienna Wareing as their Player of the Year, while Lucy Robinson has won the players’ corresponding prize. Wareing played a crucial role in the Plate success by scoring in the final victory over Durham, and Robinson made her senior matchday squad debut for United against Manchester City at Old Trafford in March.
Millie Crook, last season’s Players’ Player of the Year, has been awarded the Club Values Award. This recognition acknowledges a player who embodies the Manchester United principles throughout the campaign.

The young players have gained valuable experience through training with the first team and playing senior sides in the National League Cup. Their dedication and hard work have paid off, and they are being recognized for their outstanding achievements.
