Thursday is for many the worst day of the week for betting...

There is usually a smaller pool of games to pick from and the quality of the leagues available on these days can often been poor as well.

Despite that we have still picked out a game in Denmark that we like the look of a couple of betting options on alongside our usual picks that can be found in our Betting Tips 1x2 section.

Yesterday in our preview of two English Championship games we walked away with a very nice profit so hopefully we can do the same today.

Vendsyssel FF vs AC Horsens

The Denmark 1st Division is starting to take shape now after most teams have played five games and it is at this point that some form starts to show and we can start to get a feel for how games are going to play out.

This is an interesting encounter betweek two teams that have had similar starts in the league this season and offers both a chance to get their season fully up and running pushing the losing team into a tricky position.

Historically AC Horsens have had the upper hand in these fixtures, winning the last four and you have to go all the way back to 2014 to find the last time Vendsyssel took all three points from this head to head. It seems that the bookies are using that as the basis for the odds today and have made Horsens the favourites.

For our view though we think this game is going to go the other way. The algorithm only gives AC Horsens at 20% chance of winning this game so them being favourites seems like a big leap based on the data.

The xG for both teams also favours the home side here who have a slight advantage.

On paper it is likely to be a close game and for our Correct Score options we think the most likely outcome will be 1-0 or 1-1.
